Pioneer: ELME's new spreader series for heavy duty container handling

Pioneer is ELME's new series of container spreaders with a lifting capacity of up to 55 tonnes, available in two models: Pioneer 817 for reach stackers and Pioneer 818 for gantry-mounted lift trucks. Designed for strength, durability and long-term performance.

Pioneer was introduced last month, and here is a closer look at what the series offers.

Both models are available in three configurations: 55-tonne capacity, a 45-tonne durability configuration, and a 45 ft lift position, to match different operational requirements. The fully reinforced design enables lifting between standard positions, supporting flexible operations, while generous access simplifies maintenance and service.

Pioneer is available in three configurations:

55-tonne capacity for 20–40 ft containers: For heavy duty operations handling laden ISO containers up to 55 tonnes.

45-tonne durability configuration: Built for extended operational lifetime in demanding environments.

45 ft lift position with 45-tonne capacity: For operations handling 45 ft containers.
