ELME launches Coil Grabber 719G for steel coil handling with reach stackers
The Coil Grabber 719G is the latest addition to ELME's range: a coil handling attachment for reach stackers that handles steel coils weighing up to 45 tonnes. It grips the coil from both sides, allowing flexible operation in tight spaces.
Flexible and secure coil handling
Rounded lifting surfaces, rubber supports and soft back padding protect the coil during handling. Hydraulic sideshift of ±500 mm, which also works with the load lifted, and rotation of 195° clockwise and 105° counterclockwise let the operator position the coil precisely. The Coil Grabber 719G handles coil widths from 1 015 to 2 340 mm and outer diameters up to 1 900 mm. Width and diameter can be adjusted on request.
Mounting and control
The Coil Grabber 719G mounts on the reach stacker boom head, with a Tool Changer interface available as an option. Its structure can be disconnected, which makes shipping simple. It is equipped with a CAN bus control system, with the J1939 protocol.
