ELME introduces two new Vectrix container spreaders: 8610 and 8615 Vectrix

Here is a closer look at what the new models offer.

Engineered with precision and combining years of experience with forward-thinking innovation, the Vectrix spreader series sets a new standard in performance. Central to its performance is the idea of vector meets matrix - a balance of strength, durability, and smart mechanics. This synergy allows the Vectrix spreaders to be energy efficient and at the same time robust and trustworthy.

The strong and basic concept offers advantages, such as two parallel telescopic beams, assuring max overlap. Beam sections dimensioned to absorb not only the vertical, but also the very considerable horizontal forces.

Telescopic positions

Both 8610 Vectrix and 8615 Vectrix are telescopic piggyback top lift spreaders for intermodal handling of laden ISO containers and trailers up to 45 tonnes, available with different telescopic positions:

8610 Vectrix: 20ft and 40ft telescopic positions.

8615 Vectrix: 20ft, 40ft and 45ft telescopic positions.

The leg arrangement is done according to the ELME design system, which is a load clamping system that involves all four foldable piggyback legs in an automatic sequence. Thanks to this feature the spreader can be lowered between containers that are block stacked front to front and side to side.

The spreader is designed in compliance with EN15056 and EN13001.
